Birken Wald Kennel has been running since 1986. We live in a country setting on 10 acres in Pittsfield,NH.
My first East German Shepherd was Klockow's Lex, When I purchased him, he was untitled so at the age of 6 1/2 I put a SchH 1 title on him. His Hips and Elbows are OFA Good. His first Koerung was Kkl 1 but when he was 9 years old I re-Koered him and due to my naiveness he was Koered as Kkl II due to his weight.

After Lex I went onto other dogs titling them to SchH III, FH's and going to the Regionals and Nationals with my husband Richard with his own dog as well. I ended my SchH career being the Highest Scoring female Handler at our Regionals and Third Place with Droll Von Der Schopf SchH III,Kkl 1 For Life,IPO III,CD.

Now I am an East German Shepherd enthusiast and raise and breed exceptional East German Shepherd Dogs, some having a little West and Czech in their bloodlines.

I'm also waiting to use Frozen Semen from Klockow's Lex SchH I,Kkl II with the hope of carrying on his legacy.

Here at Birken Wald we run a very sanitary home kennel and all our puppies come with a hip/health guarantee, health certificate and  are free of parasites.
